Twitter's hashtag search looks back about a week before the search was done, so this record also goes back about a week before the conference. With SciWri being a place both for learning and for networking, the preconference tweets capture a lot about anticipation, preparations, and a few instances of science-related personal decorations. The thematic tweets include reminders to "bring your pitches" and for new-attendee and diversity meet-ups and sessions. This year, there were also tweets stemming from the proposed bylaw amendment; tweets on what to read before Saturday's vote and on early career economics.
There are about 5400 tweets in this archive, not including verbatim retweets. With such retweets included, the record expanded to over 10,000 tweets. That gets ungainly to load without adding more information about the conference itself, which is why they were not included here. I do have the retweet information available in JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) files. For those suffering from FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), hopefully this archive helps to bring you into the fold.
